Persian Lime

The Persian lime tree is moderately vigorous, of medium to high where it can achieve 4.5 to 6 meters of height, the branches are barely spiny, short and pointy. The leaves are wide-lanceolate, and with winged petioles; the young growth is a purple color that later turns green. It possesses small white flowers. The fruit of the Persian lime has an aspheric or rounded shape. The skin is Green colored when ripped; thin has a smooth appearance and texture on the surface.

On the inside of the fruit is a light Green color, divided in wedges without seeds. Es una fruta jugosa, con un sabor ácido idóneo y con una larga vida comercial.
